Volvo Introduction to Weight Distribution

Volvo Trucks’ Introduction to Weight Distribution is the first in a series of three modules designed to illustrate and explain how to calculate weight distribution. For every applied force there is an equal and opposite reaction. In this module we will study the distribution of those reactions at two or more points of support.

Objectives:

  • Recognize basic weight distribution concepts
  • Recall the formula for weight distribution calculation
  • Perform weight distribution calculations using the weight distribution formula
