Volvo Electronic Parking Brake Design and Function
This eLearning course will equip technicians with comprehensive knowledge of the electronic braking system on the Volvo VNL, enhancing their ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair these systems efficiently and accurately.
By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Understand basic components and functions of an electronic braking system (EBS)
- Describe the process of brake pressure calculation and distribution
- Identify the various sensors and modulators comprising EBS
- Recognize the safety features and additional functions of EBS, such as Auto Hold and the traction control system (TCS).
- Understand key considerations and best practices for servicing and maintaining the EBS
