501791: New Vehicles Sales Professional ILT Waiver

To be eligible for the Master Sales Leader program (MSL), participants are required to first have completed the 501791: Volvo New Vehicles Sale Professional curriculum (online and in-person training).

As communicated in the March 27, 2023 bulletin, in-person training waiver eligibility was based on those in a Volvo sales role from 2017 or prior. This eligibility criterion has been expanded to include those in a Volvo sales role since 2020 or prior.

Updated Waiver Details
Volvo new truck sales professionals and Volvo new truck sales managers who have been in a Volvo sales role since 2020 or longer may be eligible to receive a waiver from Volvo Trucks Academy for the in-person training. Keep in mind, the online courses within this curriculum must still be completed.

Determining Eligibility
Volvo Trucks Academy will conduct a learner profile review to identify those who may be eligible for the in-person training requirement waiver based on tenure in a Volvo sales role. If it is determined that you are eligible for the waiver, your training transcript will be updated in Navigator.

This learner profile review process will occur between March and May, 2025. Please do not contact Volvo Trucks Academy before May 1, 2025 to request a waiver.
