Service Advisor Training Moves to In-Person Format

With the onset of the pandemic, Volvo Trucks Academy pivoted to virtual training to continue providing our dealer network with the skills and knowledge that keep our customers on the road.

During that time, we incorporated your feedback from the ACE/ASIST and Achieving Communication Excellence series to develop and introduce a more robust in-person training experience – 501400: The Ultimate Service Advisor. This course is now the capstone master service advisor course.

We know how much more effective in-person training is, especially for a customer-facing role like service advisor. Participating in walkaround activities and sharing best practices – all while standing next to a truck – cannot be effectively replicated in a virtual environment. We’re confident that your service advisors will return to the dealership equipped to provide a superior customer experience.

Classes are now offered in our regional training centers to minimize travel time and cost. The first session is offered February 27-28, 2024 in Fort Worth, TX.
