Volvo Trucks’ Weight Distribution of Cantilevered Objects, the third in a series of three modules designed to illustrate and explain how to calculate weight distribution. In this module we will learn how to calculate weight distribution on two points of support when there is more than one weight in the truck.

Objectives:

  • Describe weight distribution for and recognize the effects on the percentage of weight transfer for cantilevered objects
  • Perform weight distribution calculations for cantilevered objects using the weight distribution formulas
