The Volvo Sales Training - VNSP Sapphire Certification course is a 2.5 day, instructor-led course that will focus on the first 3 phases of the Volvo Truck Sales Process (TSP) and is designed to further develop the competencies and skills needed to complete a successful sales proposal with increased closing rate and profit. Participants will review and use a variety of available information sources and use these sources to create a detailed customer profile. Using the detailed customer profile, participants will develop a negotiation strategy leveraging the gathered customer knowledge to validate assumptions and determine the customers purchasing criteria. Participants will interact in Customer - Dealer scenarios that are intended for practice of effective negotiation skill techniques while validating critical customer purchasing criteria. Using the developed customer profile, participants will use the existing Volvo proprietary predictor tools to quantify the correct powertrain configuration for a customer’s specific application and develop Total Cost of Ownership overview for a sales proposal that addresses the customer’s needs and wants based on their values.
