Engine MasterThe Volvo Emissions Diagnostics course provides dealer service technicians with practical, hands-on activities analyzing and diagnosing emissions system related problems within the context of probable diagnostic scenarios. The course provides an overview of the design and function of emissions systems to refresh and reinforce content covered in prerequisite courses.
Application of the diagnostics process is reinforced throughout the course. Classroom activities focus on submitting eService requests and relevant systems used in the diagnostic and repair process including Trucks Dealer Portal, Impact, PTT 2.0, eMedia and service bulletins. Workshop activities focus on diagnosing emissions system related problems based on probable scenarios.
Post-testing may start anywhere from 2:00 p.m. thru 3:30 p.m. on the last event day.
