The purpose of the Basic Electrical Series is to introduce the student to the basic concepts of electricity as they apply to machines in the construction, agriculture, and outdoor power equipment industries. These three courses assume the student has minimal knowledge of electricity. The concepts in these courses are presented in a progressive manner.
Launch course in Navigator
A score of 80% or greater is needed for course completion. If the test is not passed in 2 attempts the course must be retaken for additional attempts.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Understand electrical fundamentals
- Identify basic electrical circuits
- Interpret an electrical schematic
- Interpret a wiring diagram
- Demonstrate the use of a multimeter
- Understand procedures for repairing electrical connectors
